The 12th Sparkling Wine Festival is set to invite the top leading producers of sparkling wines and champagnes.
The Crystal Hall of the Kempinski Palace Portorož will host an exceptional event on December 26th, set against its elegant backdrop, where more than 250 sparkling wine samples await you – from delicate whites, seductive reds to elegant rosés and exclusive champagnes. Sparkling wine producers from Slovenian wine-growing regions will present their masterpieces, alongside selected sparkling wines from Croatia, Italy, and Spain. Adding a special touch to the evening, renowned sommelier Valentin Bufolin will introduce visitors to the most prestigious French champagnes.
Slovenian Wine Knights, together with the Wine Queen of Slovenian Istria, will announce the Best Sparkling Wine of Portorož 2025.
Access to the champagne salon is limited to a maximum of 20 people at a time. You can participate in the 15-minute guided tastings with a prior reservation on the day of the event at the champagne salon. Available times: 16:10, 16:30, 16:50, 17:10, 17:30, 17:50, 18:10, 18:30, 18:50, 19:10, 19:30.
TICKETS PRESALE: From the 1st to 20th December 2025 tickets will be available online and at the Tourist Information Offices Portorož (Obala 16) and Piran (Tartini Square 2). The number of tickets will be limited.
Additional tickets will be available on the day of the event at the registration point from 4:00 PM.
PRICE: 40 € during the presale, 50 € at the day of the event.
