What Does the Course Include?
The course includes everything you need for a safe and high-quality start to your diving journey:
- learning materials in Slovenian,
- rental of diving equipment,
- exercises in shallow water,
- four open-water dives,
- professional guidance by a qualified instructor,
- internationally recognized SSI Open Water Diver certification.
Through a combination of theory, exercises and practical dives, you will gain the knowledge and skills needed for safe diving down to a depth of 18 metres. Each part of the programme is designed to build confidence gradually — from the first exercises in the water to more independent exploration of the sea.
International Certificate and New Diving Experiences
After successfully completing the course, you will receive the SSI Open Water Diver certificate, which is recognized worldwide. With it, you become part of the global diving community and open the door to new diving experiences on the Slovenian coast and elsewhere around the world.
The course takes place in Fiesa near Piran, in a natural marine environment that is an excellent starting point for your first steps in diving. In addition to gaining knowledge, you can look forward to an unforgettable experience that may become the beginning of a new passion for the sea.
The meeting point is Divestrong – Fiesa, near Hotel Barbara in Fiesa. When you arrive at Hotel Barbara, go through the underpass next to the hotel and then follow the coastal path to the end, where the Divestrong diving center is located.
Parking is available nearby at the public car park in Fiesa. The parking fee is €2/hour. Please do not park in front of Hotel Barbara, as the parking area is reserved exclusively for hotel guests.

Before the course, please check and complete the TR-MEDICAL-DIVER medical form. To participate without an additional medical certificate, all answers on the form must be marked NO. If you answer YES to any question, please provide a medical certificate before the dive confirming that you are fit to dive.
