The Legendary Ocean Liner Rex
The escape room is inspired by the ocean liner Rex, which ran aground near Izola during the Second World War.
The ocean liner Rex was as large as the Titanic, even more luxuriously equipped and so fast that in 1933 it set a speed record for crossing the Atlantic. Before it ran aground, it was thoroughly looted and later dismantled for scrap metal, while the remains of the ship still lie on the seabed near Izola.
Today, Rex can only be admired in photographs, but many fascinating stories about it still live on.
The Mystery of Cabin 87
One of these stories is also the central theme of the escape room: the mystery of Cabin 87.
For those who enjoy adventurous activities filled with unexpected challenges, this is the perfect experience. The escape room is suitable for groups of up to 6 people, and because of the 1-hour time limit, it is ideal for the group to include participants of different ages. After all, two heads are better than one. Children are usually more curious, while older participants are often wiser.
