The experience begins in the picturesque village of Sv. Peter, where participants escape the coastal bustle and connect with the authentic rhythm of the Istrian countryside. Upon arrival, guests receive a brief introduction to the daily program and the sustainability concept of the experience. They learn about the importance of the local environment, traditions, and community, with a strong focus on responsible exploration and sustainable mobility. The day starts calmly, in harmony with nature and the local surroundings.
The journey continues with a visit to a traditional Istrian house – Tonas House, where guests discover past and present rural lifestyles. They explore the story of Istrian olive oil and the importance of local food production. A premium olive oil tasting reveals the richness of local flavors. A highlight is the meeting with locals, who share their stories and knowledge, offering an authentic insight into Istrian life, culture, and cuisine.
Participants then embark on a guided e-bike tour to Padna, allowing for effortless exploration of the rolling Istrian landscape. The route passes through olive groves, vineyards, and small hamlets, offering stunning views and authentic rural moments. Along the way, the guide shares insights into the landscape, cultural heritage, and local highlights. E-bikes make the experience accessible while reducing environmental impact.
The experience continues with visits to cultural and artistic sites, where history meets contemporary creativity. A walk through the stone streets of Padna reveals the architectural heritage of Istrian villages. A visit to the Božidar Jakac Gallery offers insight into local artistic expression. Through storytelling, participants gain a deeper understanding of the identity of the place and its cultural richness.
The final part takes place in Nova vas, where guests take part in a hands-on preparation of traditional homemade pasta. Guided by local hosts, they learn about craftsmanship and culinary traditions passed down through generations. This is followed by a shared lunch, featuring dishes prepared by the participants, paired with seasonal Istrian flavors and a glass of local wine. The day concludes with a relaxed return to Sv.
