Experience Slovenian Istria from a different perspective – ride a Vespa to an olive grove, where you will join the locals in harvesting olives. Round off the day with an Istrian lunch, an olive oil tasting and a scenic ride back towards Piran.
The experience begins at 8:30 am in Piran, at Galerija Maona, Cankarjevo nabrežje 7. After a short introduction, preparation and familiarisation with the Vespas, you will set off with your guide towards the olive farm. The ride itself already offers wonderful views of the picturesque Istrian countryside, olive groves and rural roads.
Upon arrival at the beautiful Gramona farm, you will be welcomed by a local host who will introduce you to the tradition of olive growing in Slovenian Istria, the olive harvesting process and the use of the necessary tools and equipment. Before you begin, you will also receive instructions on how to work correctly and safely.
Then comes the main part of the experience – harvesting olives together with the locals. For approximately two and a half hours, you will actively take part in the work in the olive grove and discover first-hand just how much knowledge, effort and tradition lie behind every bottle of high-quality olive oil.

After your visit to the farm, you will get back on your Vespas and ride along the scenic roads of Slovenian Istria towards Piran. The route leads through Istrian villages, olive groves and vineyards, making the return ride one final enjoyable part of your full-day adventure.
Arrival back in Piran is expected between approximately 3:00 pm and 3:30 pm. The entire experience lasts around 6–7 hours and combines a Vespa ride, authentic hands-on work in an olive grove, local cuisine and an introduction to one of Istria’s most important products – olive oil.
