Safe Preparation for Your First Dive
The experience begins at the Divestrong diving center in Fiesa, where you will be welcomed by an experienced instructor who will introduce you to the programme. You will get to know the basic diving equipment, receive simple instructions for breathing underwater and learn how your first encounter with the underwater world will take place. The experience is designed to be relaxed and safe, so no previous diving experience is required.
Your First Breath Beneath the Sea Surface
After the preparation, you will enter the water together with the instructor, where you will experience the feeling of breathing below the surface at a calm pace. Under the constant guidance of the instructor, you will explore the marine environment near Piran, observe underwater life and enjoy an unforgettable first diving experience.
This experience is an excellent choice for everyone who is interested in diving but is not yet ready for a full diving course.
The meeting point is Divestrong – Fiesa, near Hotel Barbara in Fiesa. When you arrive at Hotel Barbara, go through the underpass next to the hotel and then follow the coastal path to the end, where the Divestrong diving center is located.
Parking is available nearby at the public car park in Fiesa. The parking fee is €2/hour. Please do not park in front of Hotel Barbara, as the parking area is reserved exclusively for hotel guests.

Preparation for the dive includes a brief presentation of the tour, safety instructions, and the selection of a suitable dive site based on the conditions and the participants’ experience. Before the dive begins, the guide checks the equipment and makes sure that all participants are ready for a safe exploration of the underwater world.
Before the dive, please check and complete the TR-MEDICAL-DIVER medical form. To participate without an additional medical certificate, all answers on the form must be marked NO. If you answer YES to any question, please provide a medical certificate confirming that you are fit to dive before the dive.
