Three Faces of Art: A Timeless Journey Through Piran’s Heritage

With a single ticket, discover three cultural treasures of Piranthe birthplace of virtuoso Giuseppe Tartini, outstanding exhibitions at the City Gallery, and the artistic treasures of the Minorite Monastery. What does the Art & Culture Portorož & Piran Pass include?

One-time admission to:

  1. Piran City Gallery – Discover the central exhibition venue for contemporary art, connecting Piran with the international art scene through exceptional exhibitions.
  2. Tartini House – Visit the birthplace of virtuoso Giuseppe Tartini and explore his legacy through personal objects and the famous violin.
  3. Minorite Monastery of St. Francis of Assisi in Piran – Step into the peaceful setting of 700 years of history and admire Vittore Carpaccio’s Renaissance masterpiece.
  4. Piran City Café – Each family member can choose their own surprise: a scoop of ice cream or a coffee.

Opening Hours

The Coastal Galleries of Piran are closed on Mondays. During the winter season (from September until the end of June), they are open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. In July and August, summer opening hours apply: from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

The Minorite Monastery is open daily. In summer, it is open continuously from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM, while in winter it is open from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Tartini House is closed on Mondays. On Tuesdays and Thursdays it is open from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, on Wednesdays and Fridays from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, on Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and on Sundays from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

For the best experience, we recommend planning your visits accordingly and taking enough time to enjoy the views and exhibitions.

How to Use the Pass

  1. Purchase your pass online or at Tourist Information Centres (Portorož, Piran, Padna).
  2. If you purchase online, you will receive a voucher that you can simply show on your phone (a screenshot is sufficient!) at the selected TIC, where you will receive the original ticket with 4 detachable stubs.
  3. At each location, hand over one stub – the staff will collect it and place a themed sticker on your ticket in return.
  4. Collect all 3 stickers and a small surprise awaits you at Piran City Café!

Each of the three cultural sites can be visited once within 3 days of purchase. While exploring the unforgettable stories of Piran, don’t forget to collect memories – and stickers!
